We haven't put anything on before now, because our daughter meant the world to us and we are struggling now so much, but like her our Faith is strong, she really is OK now, because she is with her Saviour. Jesus Christ. Thanks to everyone who was at the funeral service and all who took part and made the day so special. Thankyou.

What can we say,we were the luckiest in laws to have such a beautiful,caring and thoughtful daughter in law.We have had some really funny and happy memories which we will cherish.Love You Juliet,out of pain now my luvly.xx .

My cousin was laid to rest in a most beautiful place here on earth. For those of us who are in Christ this is temporary. Ju as her family called her was our bridesmaid. She shone then as a 17 year old who always seemed a tad shy. Then when Darren came along he enabled her to 'fly' and gave her the wings to do so! Juliet may have been his 'Rock' but he was the one who not just gave her wings but flew alongside her. God in his wisdom has now given her eternal wings and Juliet is flying high in the Heaven of Heavens, along with saints of old and saints from her clan. Jesus wanted His sister home. and God wanted His daughter. Her legacy will live on even in her absence - through two grieving yet supported children and in all the ways she touched those in need in the community of Abbeydale both the Christian sector and the secular! Satan will never have the upper ground! Death is coming only once for those in Christ, until He returns. As for Darren his poem should challenge every man with a spouse! Humbling and quite Holy. Only his Rock placed upon the 'Rock' could enable him to write so!

In 1999, Darren visited Dave (aka Piggy) & I and he couldn’t keep the smile from his face as he told us about a girl he’d met in Kent. That girl was Juliet. A kind caring beautiful person inside and out. Shortly after this we met Juliet ourselves when she visited Gloucestershire and we have many memories of nights out, days out, nights in playing games (Peggy Sue was always a favourite) BBQs, Christmas quizzes etc. We had become firm friends. It didn’t take long and there was a wedding...... a fabulous time was had in Tenterden and just a few weeks ago Juliet was showing me a photo of how she fitted back in her gorgeous wedding dress just last year. More ‘nights in’ followed as Lucy arrived making our nights out more rare. Then Juliet was such wonderful support to Dave & I at our own wedding, where she did a reading for us - even though she was feeling unwell that day - she just didn’t want to let us down Sometime later, we also became bump buddies (although her bump always seemed much smaller than mine) and we both welcomed our baby boys into the world. Joseph & Nahum. Joseph was extremely lucky to have Juliet look after him as I went back to work. Juliet sent me photos and messages on the days she looked after him - I couldn't ask for anyone better to look after my baby!! As the boys grew, we shared playgroup, preschool and primary school events together, watching the boys become the best of friends too Fast forward to today and Juliet has left a hole in our lives that will never be filled. She was a kind, caring, sensitive, beautiful lady, who we will miss forever xxxx

We as a family are so sad that Juliet has passed on and praying for you in your deep loss. Juliet is very much missed; we will always remember her gentleness, kindness and serving others with the gifts God gave her. We know that our little loving Heavenly Father, whom she trusted so faithfully has welcomed his faithful servant to her eternal home. Much love in Christ, Abby, Martin, Sam, Ruth and Pip.

Watching Des (Darren) and Ju get married is one of my all time favourite weddings. It was the first time I had seen 2 great friends tie the knot and it was the happiest of days. Becoming a Churchdown Ladette Juliet took it in her stride. In the early days she was hosting impromptu sleep overs with kebabs and garlic pizzas taking over her lounge after a night at Montells in Tewkesbury, barbecues in their garden with the extended Chandler crew and visits to the mop fair! Then came the arrival of Lucy. It was the first time I had felt a baby kick in a friends tummy and I was so excited to watch her family grow. I will never forget the bonnet that Nan Chandler knitted for Lucy with matching pants. How we laughed. I believe there is footage of this event which still makes me giggle to this day. The Chandler Christmas quiz has been a superb event which Des and Ju created and hosted every year. Ju was always a superb hostess and would provide the biggest buffet for us all to gorge ourselves on. She was always able to calm the lads when they started to argue with the quiz master! Mainly by feeding us! Juliet played the piano at my wedding and was the first person I saw when I arrived at my wedding venue. She was always such a happy, calm influence and her smile could light up the room. Juliet stood by my side when I was Christened. Her belief in God is something I was in awe of. I have the Bible she gave me next to me now. I know that she felt God would take care of her when she left us and I admired her stength and faith not only during her short battle with cancer but the whole time I knew her. I am saddened that I have so many unanswered questions and wish I had made the time to have more conversations with her about her beliefs. The power of her faith will stay with me always. I have been looking at all the photos from lads Christmas dinners, Barns, weddings over the years. All the different secret santa's, gift giving, laughing, having a dance and in every picture she is smiling, this is how I will remember her. Juliet may be gone but she will never be forgotten because her love and joy spread far and wide and she touched so many peoples lives. I love her very much and I am so grateful that she was such a big part of my life for 20 years!

Such a lovely caring friendly person. I met Juliet at Noah's ark at Hillview church, she always had time to sit and talk to me and my daughter's, and chatted to my young grandsons, and the young girls I minded.. Even when my daughter's left she would always ask about them and how they were and how my grandsons and the little girls I minded were doing....xxx ❤

Juliet you were such a special lady, always smiling, gentle, caring and loving. You hold a very special place in my heart - you lovingly looked after my girls when I went back to work (many years ago) and I will always remember your beaming smile when you told me you had met Darren!

Juliet was literally the kindest person I know! She was so thoughtful, funny, gentle and so full of Christ's love. I am comforted by the fact that I know, without doubt, that she is pain-free now in paradise!

I got to know Juliet through working at Number 6, she volunteered with the team. She was great to work with and fitted in to the team so well, she was so kind and caring. One memory that stands out is that ,one is there was a night where I stayed up late to check someone in so Juliet covered an hour of my shift so to make up for me waiting an hour.

I feel so very grateful to God for placing Ju in my life and giving her to me as a friend. What a beautiful and special person she was, so had much talent and gifts. We had great fun times as a foursome friendship going out for drinks, cinema, theatre, spa days even a girly weekend away in Bath for her 40th. During her later times she would always happily have me round for a cuppa even though I expect she was feeling wretched. She has taught me so much in how to be a good Christian woman and that reading God’s word should be top priority above all else! I will miss her greatly and will treasure the memories I have of her. I look forward to the day when I will see her again. Love Sam xxxx

Juliet was many, many things, a funny, Faithful Sister in Christ Jesus, a fantastic Wife, Daughter, Mother and friend and to me personally, Juliet displayed the gift of encouragement. Whether going through the trials or triumphs of life, she would often encourage me at a very timely moment during my walk in the Christian Faith. Juliet, you are incredibly missed, but I rest assured in the Faith that we shared of a time when we will meet again in the Glorious Eternity with our God that you have already entered into x Till we meet again x Chris Wintle

Juliet was the most beautiful, loving and thoughtful best friend and sister I ever could have wished for. I will always be thankful for the time we had together. We had a lot of fun times and some very difficult times. We laughed hysterically over the silliest things and talked absolute nonsense but it somehow made sense to us! She loved shopping but especially stopping for a coffee and cake and lunch. She looked after my daughter after school for 6 years and was always there with a cuppa when I picked her up after a long day and these times were a lifeline for me. She was always there for me in my darkest times and I hope I was there for her in hers. My life has been made so much richer by her love and friendship and I have appreciated every precious moment with her over these last few months. She has been so brave. I am so honoured that she called me her sister and best friend and will love her and miss her forever. Love Becky Xxxxxx

I feel very lucky that Juliet and I were friends from a young age. We knew each other through Trinity in Tenterden and my brother, Paul, and I used to go to play with Ju and Marcus every Thursday evening at their house while our parents took it in turns to go to the church midweek meeting. I loved those times - we became really good friends and used to watch Knightrider and Streethawk and make up dance routines to Abba songs! My family and I moved away from Kent when I was 12 and Ju was 11. Despite living hundreds of miles away we stayed in touch and would regularly write. We used to visit each other and Juliet also came to stay with me at University. We then went on holiday together to Italy and Spain a couple of times in our early 20s and we were bridesmaids for each other. Juliet means so much to me. She has been such a constant in my life - even when in recent years our contact became more intermittent, she was one of those friends where you can just pick up where you left off. She was always such a beautiful person and has been such an example in the way she lived her life. I feel so grateful to have had her as a friend. I will miss her so much.

I got to know Ju as we spent time in God’s word together in community group and as we began to meet one to one to read the Bible. We really did delve deep together to discover God’s heart and respond. I remember Ju getting this sense of real urgency about getting in to God’s word, growing closer to Him, a desire to dwell with God and ‘hold out the word of truth’ they were really special times.
